2015 TASH Conference has ended
This year’s theme, “Celebrating 40 Years of Progressive Leadership,” acknowledges TASH’s 40 years of generating change within the disability community and anticipates a brighter, more inclusive future for people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Each year, the TASH Conference impacts the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world.

Therese Fimian has worked in the disability and employment field for over 20 years, establishing and overseeing national workforce programs, research, and demonstration projects that promote economic empowerment and self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities. Therese’s work with strategy, policy and systems has led to the development and adoption of services to create access to competitive, integrated employment options for individuals with significant disabilities consistent with the goals of the Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Employment First policies. Therese is currently directing SourceAmerica’s Pathways to Careers initiative, a national customized employment initiative designed to ensure that youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder can successfully obtain competitive, integrated, employment and achieve their career goals.
