2015 TASH Conference has ended
This year’s theme, “Celebrating 40 Years of Progressive Leadership,” acknowledges TASH’s 40 years of generating change within the disability community and anticipates a brighter, more inclusive future for people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Each year, the TASH Conference impacts the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world.

Tara has worked in the field of disability services for over 35 years with Individuals, family members, organizations, schools, and government entities to support self-determination and quality services. For thirteen years, she worked for United Cerebral Palsy of Oregon and SW Washington and led the transition from congregate to individualized services.  Through her work with Asai & Associates, Inc. and Marc Gold & Associates Inc., she has provided person centered planning, consultation and training on organizational development and individualized supported living and employment services.

Tara is the President of the Oregon Chapter of the Association of People Supporting Employment First.  She has a MS in Special Education and Masters in Management of Human Services (MMHS) from the Heller School at Brandeis University.  Tara is native Oregonian and enjoys running, swimming, and traveling.
