2015 TASH Conference has ended
This year’s theme, “Celebrating 40 Years of Progressive Leadership,” acknowledges TASH’s 40 years of generating change within the disability community and anticipates a brighter, more inclusive future for people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Each year, the TASH Conference impacts the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world.

Christopher Lin

Christopher transitioned from an autism class and a 6-bed group home when he turned 19, as a result of his family attending Cal-TASH conferences and dreaming about what could be possible for Chris.  Christopher used to challenge the system, not quite fitting in to the group home or autism classroom model, and, communicating through his behaviors, he demanded something different.  Christopher now lives in his own condo along with his roommate Quantain, is a regular participant in 5K running events, volunteers at the Salvation Army, and spends time making good use of his gym membership.
