Ukeru Systems

Booth 11
Ukeru Systems was born from both necessity and vision of a large behavioral healthcare provider. In 2004, the CEO of Grafton Integrated Health Network, set a company-wide directive to “minimize the use of restraint and seclusion without compromising client or employee safety.” Grafton committed to not only reduce the use of restraint and seclusion, but also to replace these procedures with alternatives that promote a safe, comforting and secure environment for clients and employees. Ukeru Systems is now revolutionizing the way crisis management is thought of and taught by offering training in Ukeru (restraint free approach), Trauma Informed Care, The Grafton Method (examining organizational behavior and culture), and Case Formulation.
