Elizabeth Vosseller has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 1995. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Maryland. Elizabeth has focused her career in both academia and therapeutic practice. As a Professor and Clinical Supervisor at The George Washington University she taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the Speech-Language and Education departments for 12 years. In 2013 Elizabeth began teaching children to spell to communicate via low and high-tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Elizabeth's practice is the culmination of her work in academia, doctoral study in Early Childhood Special Education and SLP specialization in autism. Education and communication for non/minimally-speaking autistics is now the focus of her private practice. Her passion is advocacy for the communication rights, access to education and community through communication and rigorous training for practitioners.
