The NCSC Wiki brings together information that covers many concepts. Using the wiki as an online reference makes it easy to draw from extensive resources and target specific questions and needs. In instruction of ELA and Math Content for students with significant disabilities, the NCSC Wiki provides a unique tool for collaboration between general educators, special educators and parents. These groups can explore content, typical instructional strategies, and training across multiple contexts. The Wiki ties together the varied perspectives, encouraging progressive leadership and making it easy to share and understand the information and plan together to meet student needs. OBJECTIVES: By the end of this session, participants will be able to: a. Describe how the WIKI can be used as a tool for collaboration. b. Discuss how lessons delivered in general education classroom can be supported by special education services and family members. c. Identify ways the Wiki tools can be used to facilitate instructional planning. d. Recognize approaches to accommodating and adapting content used in the Wiki resources.
