Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

TASH@ NAU has collaborated with many self-advocates in various activities. By creating various artistic mediums, we will model and provide the opportunity for participants' self-expression. Self-expression is an important skill for all advocates to possess. For many individuals with disabilities, self-advocacy may just be a term, but they have not been provided the opportunities to participate in activities that focus on this skill. We aim to share a meaningful experience for self-advocates to express themselves. Art is an excellent way for ALL to express themselves. Audience members will be encouraged to create art and share with the presenters. OBJECTIVES:a.) understand self- and young-advocates' mode of artistic expression b.) design their own art work to express themselves c.) respond to questions regarding self-expression
