While we join TASH in celebrating the progress over 40 years, we also acknowledge that more progress is needed. An analysis of topics and practices represented in key educational journals will serve as the entry point for a discussion of progress. Using TASH?s mission and values as a framework for discussion, the highly interactive session begins with a short presentation of the findings then moves to a facilitated discussion. Session goals include identifying the progress made, identifying barriers that continue to prevent, interfere with and disrupt inclusive practices, and brainstorming steps for moving forward. OBJECTIVES: By the end of this session participants will be able to: 1. Identify the areas of progress over the 20 years in inclusive education, transition and positive behavioral supports 2. Critique the progress 3. Identify and discuss barriers to progress 4. Discuss strategies to move forward
