Limited Capacity seats available

We are two young ladies with intellectual disabilities that never would have thought we would have an opportunity to go to college, especially not at a big 4-year university! We want to share our experiences in transition and why we think it is so important for other students like us. Our transition program doesn?t teach us things we will never use, they teach us the skills we need to get jobs and live on our own, but in a place where we get to have an experience of college like everyone else. Everyone should get an experience like us! OBJECTIVES: -Participants will learn about our transition program on a college campus -Participants will hear our first hand accounts of the ?college? experience -Participants will learn what is important to us as individuals with disabilities and how to make transition programs more effective.
