This year’s theme, “Celebrating 40 Years of Progressive Leadership,” acknowledges TASH’s 40 years of generating change within the disability community and anticipates a brighter, more inclusive future for people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Each year, the TASH Conference impacts the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world.

Special Kids Crusade has created a curriculum for joining and welcoming in groups (called Including Special Kids), Including Special Kids is a fully included out of school program in partnership with local youth development organization. We are currently working children aged 6-18 at 5 sites in Santa Cruz, Monterey and Santa Clara counties. Including Special Kids is also working with local school districts to develop the skills that all students need to join in social and educational groups so students with developmental delays can be fully included in their school community.
